A planned August 17, 2012 release, it will reportedly feature Vin Diesel, Chuck Norris, and many other actions stars. I am excited for this sequel, the first one was really good, it reminded me of the 80's action films. So hopefully we hear more about the plot details and the definite actors.

I thought the first movie was awesome, however, I think Stallone was the reason for that. If he is not directing the 2nd one… it might be not worth to watch. Stallone’s plots are usually the same, but he tells stories in a good way. Also, the movie industry needs more ideas, rather than making sequels just because the first part was a big hit. I think they just carried away and get greedy with making money and start making sequels hoping that it is also a hit just because people liked the first part of the movie.
ReplyDeleteThe future of movies seem to be remakes of everything. Is that a reflection of the culture having nothing else to do? This movie, which I did not see,seemed to be a disaster movie. There was too many macho people to be a good movie. The people that are in the movie are certain individuals who always takes the lead role.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Sean on this, Stallone created and directed the movie. To go with another writer and director could ruin the movie. I will state that this movie is a b movie at best , but still a great market. Action flick with everybody favorite actors with incredibly cheesy lines brought huge crowds to the box office. I read also the budget for the new film is going to be astronomical compared to the first one. That can only mean more shootouts and explosions!!
