Back to the Future is a 1985 American Sci-fi comedy film. It was the most successful film of the year earning $380 million dollars world-wide and recieved many different awards. The car used in the movie was a DeLorean. They turned the car into a time machine in the movie. Once everyone saw the movie people wanted to get their hands on that car. I personnally like the effects of this movie and how they traveled in time.
This is one of those classic movies that I have never seen before. People always think I'm crazy for not seeing it. Judging by the photo, this is what the film makers pictured the future to look like. The technology for this film was vary advanced I'm sure. If I watch this film tomorrow, I wonder if I will have a love for it like everyone else does.
ReplyDeleteI think it is interesting how a simple movie like Back to the Future made the DeLorean into a classic vehicle. There was even an episode of American Dad where Stan Smith was on a quest to finish his DeLorean and went on a roadtrip to get the door to finish it.
ReplyDeleteChristina, Back To The Future is one of the greatest movies ever made. When that movie came out in 1984 I thought that by the year 2011 we would have flying cars. How wrong was I. I do think that flying cars are just around the corner now though. Unfortunately when they do come out only the rich will be able to afford them. This was a really great post that made me start thinking once again about the future. Mary Ann Reday.
ReplyDeleteI remember watching the movie Back To The Future. I thought it was a good movie.I agree with you Mary,I thought we would have had flying cars by now. I wonder would we have them during my lifetime? I was first hooked on flying cars, when I first saw the Jetsons flying around.
ReplyDeleteI feel so left out! I haven't seen almost any of these movies! I've been on the ride at Universal Studios, but one has nothing to do with the other, as my dad said. I think that maybe the movie would be a little off. Like Will Smith's iRobot, people thought the future, which is now, would be more advanced.
